Students in Palestine Middle School science teacher Janet McCreary's classes spent Wednesday and Thursday firing paper rockets that they made in class as a fun and educational way to end the school year.

Band Whiskey Myers, performs during the second annual Old Town Throwdown event held at The Hollow in Old Town Palestine on Saturday. Hosted by the band Backseat Molly, the event was created to bring big bands through Palestine and help the local economy by bringing people into town.
