Graveside services for Bonnie Faye Holland, 99, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Olive Branch Cemetery at Brushy Creek with David Stephenson presiding. Services are under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Bonnie was born June 3, 1913, in Dialville, Texas, to Roscoe H. and Gertrude Isaacs Deason.
She retired from Palestine Independent School District and was a member of the Frankston Church of Christ Church.
Bonnie went to be with her Lord on Feb. 22, 2013 at a local nursing home in Palestine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lloyd Allen Holland.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Loyd and Sadie Holland of Frankston, Kenneth and Ann Holland of Palestine, and Mike and Linda Holland of Palestine; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Buck Pike of Montalba, Jeanne and Walt Broemer of Livingston, and Judy and David Stephenson of Gilmer; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday at the Cemetery prior to services.
