E.J. Bozeman

Funeral services for E.J. Bozeman, 80, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at  Latexo Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Rochelle and the Rev. Wayne Frasier officiating. Burial will follow at Livelyville Cemetery in Houston County under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Bozeman died Tuesday at Houston County Nursing Home.

He was born Aug. 15, 1932, to Nathan Joseph and Nettie Ann (Burran) Bozeman in Belott, Texas.

Mr. Bozeman served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Knox Glass Company for many years and Texas Department of Criminal Justice after the glass plant closed. E.J. was a member of Latexo Baptist Church and a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Marie (Lucas) Bozeman; second wife, Windola (Mims) Bozeman; daughter, Dianna Kay (Bozeman) Clark; and brother, Nathan Junior Bozeman.

He is survived by his daughters, Devie Bozeman, Darla Blaha and husband Joe, Donna Kobou and husband Matthew; son, E.J. Bozeman II and wife Roberta; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Pallbearers will be Vant Williams, Russ Moser, Dennis Moser, Dennis Baker, Tommy Gunnels and E.J. Bozeman II.

Condolence calls will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel on U.S. 287 South Bypass in Grapeland.
