A farewell party for Bena Maranda Phillips, 36, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Ms. Phillips died Tuesday at her residence.
She was born Dec. 28, 1975 in Bossier City, La. to Eddie and Marilyn Owen Phillips.
Ms. Phillips was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carroll and Wanda Owen and Buck Phillips.
Ms. Phillips is survived by her parents, Eddie and Marilyn Phillips; two daughters, Lyric Ariana McNett and Autumn Lee McNett; a son, Gavin Cain McNett; grandmother, Lossie Phillips; a sister, Selena Dancer; three brothers, Heath Phillips, Slade Phillips and Layton Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
