Billy Glen Lambright

Graveside services for Billy Glen Lambright, 77, of Palestine, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Cemetery in Bradford with the Rev. Mike Drinkard officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mr. Lambright died Friday at the Trucare Living Center.

He was born April 30, 1935 in Henderson County to Jim and Lila Jernigan Lambright. 

Mr. Lambright owned and operated a general store for more than 20 years.

He was a cattle rancher and served as Anderson County commissioner for eight years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elvin, Melvin and Doug Lambright.

Mr. Lambright is survived by wife, Ovie Lambright; children, Victor Lambright and wife Lesa, Shelby Lambright and wife Wanda, and Amy Lambright; grandchildren, Jessica McCann, Kassi Brooks, Tara Holliday, Shelby Howell and Jeremy Lambright; great-grandchildren, Madeline Jeffcoat, Walker McCann and Drayton Holliday.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
