PALESTINE —
Nancy Ann Rule was born on Dec. 30, 1948 in Crawford County, Ohio to Ivan and Nola Rule. Nancy grew up and took catechism in Ohio to join the Methodist Church. Nancy and her family moved to Texas in 1964. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1966. Once Nancy graduated she attended Henderson County Junior College.
Nancy worked and volunteered for the American Diabetes Association and even became the Volunteer of the Year. Nancy worked extensively with the DAB and she was also a member of the White Rock Lions Club in Dallas. Nancy was the District 2 x 1 Lion of the Year from 2004-2005.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ivan; and her brother, Eddy.
She is survived by her mother, Nola.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ted Dickey Funeral Home.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Edom Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Ted Dickey Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Diabetes Association.
