Frank Fletcher

— Graveside services for Marion Frankie Fletcher, 81, of Palestine, were at 11 a.m. today at Chapel of the Air at Land of Memory Cemetery with the Rev. Charles McNeil officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mr. Fletcher died Friday at his residence.

He was born in Palestine on May 7, 1931, to George Marion and Mary Cynthia Lasiter Fletcher. He had lived in Anderson County all his life and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.  

Mr. Fletcher worked at Eilenberger’s Bakery for many years and as a warehouse foreman at the Palestine Coca Cola Company.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Earlene Fletcher of Palestine; two sons, Bobby Fletcher and Gary Fletcher, both of Palestine; two daughters, Neva Hields of Pert and Karen Curry of Palestine; one brother, John Fletcher of Oakland; one sister, Mary Johnson of Palestine; eight grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
