Funeral services for Jose Antonio Umanzor, 44, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Jose passed away on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at East Texas Medical Center in Crockett.
He was born in El Salvador on July 11, 1968, to Jose Santos Reyes and Maria Ernestina Umanzor.
Jose lived in Palestine for many years and worked as a tree trimmer for Wright Tree Service.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam Umanzor; several brothers; and one sister.
A Rosary and visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel.
