Fritz Henry Baack

Fritz Henry Baack, 82, of Palestine, Texas passed away on Sunday morning, March 17, 2013 in his home.  

Fritz was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Giddings, Texas.

He moved from Houston, Texas to Palestine, Texas in 1981 with his wife, Laverne Beckwith Baack. He was a member of Field Chapel United Methodist Church in Palestine.  

He was proud to serve his country in the Navy during the Korean War.  

Fritz was a brick layer by trade, but his true passion was hunting.  He loved to be in the woods. He was an avid deer hunter and coon hunter.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Baack.  

He is survived by his sons, Ronnie Baack and wife, Lorri, Tilden Baack and wife, Kimberly, and Quintin Baack and wife, Donna. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brooks Baack, McKenzie Baack and Tyler (T.C.) Baack.  

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19 at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews and family friends.
