Graveside services for Joyce Faye Davis, 71, of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Land of Memory Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Fauss officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Davis died Saturday at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler.
She was born Feb. 24, 1941 in Missouri to Toy and Opal Hubbard Walton.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was a ministers wife for many years. She loved wildlife, traveling, gardening, painting, writing and witnessing to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, A.E. (Gene) Davis and Don Miller.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Deanna Underhill and husband Chip of Cedar Hill; stepdaughter, Rhonda Miller of Rockford, Ill; son, Kieth Davis and wife Sara of Palestine; stepsons, Ronnie Miller of Rockford, Ill, and Ricky Miller of Wappapello, Mo.; sisters, Shelly Cady of California, and Helen Umphenour of Wappapello, Mo.; a brother, Vern Walton of New London; three grandchildren, Kiethen Davis, Mistie Underhill and Kristian Davis; two great-grandchildren, Kylee Davis and Cooper Davis.
