Services for Mary Annie Allen, 86, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dr. Butch Lockhard officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Church Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.
Mrs. Allen died Wednesday at Cartmell Home for the Aged.
She was born Aug. 18, 1926 in Odessa to Grover Cleveland Bozarth and Mary Emma Hartung.
Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Dallas James Ladd Burgis Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie James Allen; brothers, Grover, Edward, Jessie, Robert and Howard Bozarth; and one grandson, Christopher Allen.
She is survived by daughter, Mary Schmitz and husband Floyd of Palestine; sons, Jesse Allen and wife Dorine of Montalba, Dave Allen of Montalba and Donald Allen and wife Nora of Palestine; brother-in-law, Bill Allen and wife Neva of Montalba; sister-in-law, Levenia Bozarth; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Schmitz, Larry Walding, John Tyer, Brian Smith, Keith Brown and Randy Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Hoper, Delwin Sims, Tyson Miller and Bill Clanton.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
