Memorial services for Jerry C. Harris Sr. will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Harris died Thursday at his residence.
He was born Aug. 5, 1936 in Palestine to Clyde and Inez Edwards Harris. Mr. Harris was a retired school teacher from the Windham School district.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joy Gibson Harris.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Harris Jr. and wife Leslie of Southlake; and five grandchildren, Trevor, Ryan, Brady, Parker and Landon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
