Grace Crouch

Funeral services for Grace Fuller Crouch, 89, of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jordan Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine City Cemetery.

Mrs. Crouch died Tuesday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 18, 1924, in Palestine to William Allison Fuller Sr. and Mozelle Perry Fuller. She had lived here all her life and was a member of the First Christian Church where she was very involved with the church activities for many years.

Mrs. Crouch was a retired office manager from JCPenney Company. She loved to play games and travel with her family and also enjoyed square dancing.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mozelle Fuller; husbands, Vernon C. Henderson and Thomas J. Crouch; sister, Dorothy Booth; and brother, William A. Fuller Jr.

She is survived by her son, Bill Henderson and wife Linda of Houston; daughter, Ann Miller of Neches; sister, Jean F. Jones of Alvin; four grandchildren, Bill Henderson Jr., Susan Henderson, Robert Jones, and J.W. Miller; and one great-grandchild, Rachel Jones.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
