Services for Yvonne Sells, 93, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Jay Abernathy officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Sells died Friday at Cartmell Home for Aged.
She was born June 1, 1919 in Desdamona, Texas, to George Roy and Naioma Aletha Snelson Witt.
Mrs. Sells was a member of the First Baptist Church of Palestine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ira Richard Sells; four sons, David C. Woods, James R. Miller, Rodney A. Sells and Kenneth R. Sells.
Mrs. Sells is survived by her daughters, Barbara Pettit and husband Harold of Palestine, and Pamela J. Sells of Conroe; a brother, Gene Paul Witt of Warren; a sister-in-law, Joyce Trammell and husband Gene of Friendswood; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Condolence calls will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
