Daniel Twain Sedgwick, 58, of Palestine, died Feb. 4, 2013, at a local nursing home. Daniel was born July 8, 1954, in Rising Star, Texas to Leroy and Mary Lou Sedgwick. He was an equipment operator for Anderson County Precinct 3 and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Louise Crabtree.
He is survived by a daughter, Kristen Peoples and husband Brady of Issaquah, Wash.; two grandchildren, Jackson Brady Peoples and Olivia Claire Peoples; parents, Leroy and Mary Lou Sedgwick of Henderson; sisters, Debra Lynn Hornsby and husband Wayne of Henderson, Cherie Weaver and husband John of Henderson, and Angela Dawn Hardy and husband Rick of Henderson; brother, Robert Leroy Sedgwick and wife Linda of Palestine.
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at Henderson Church of Christ in Henderson.
