Funeral services for Augustin Aviles, 40, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Noe Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in Land of Memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.
Mr. Aviles passed away Thursday in Tyler.
He was born April 22, 1972 in Guadalajara, Mexico to Augustine Aviles-Garcia and Maria Consuelo Sanchez.
He was a cook for Palestine Regional Medical Center and a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista.
Mr. Aviles left behind a mother, Maria Aviles of Palestine; father, Augustine Aviles of Mexico; two sisters, Alicia Cochran and Ramona Mitchell, both of Palestine; brother, Rodrigo Aviles of Mexico; girlfriend, Sonia Guzman of Palestine; nephews, Frankie Aviles, Jason Aviles and Bennie Cochran, of Palestine; nieces, Hanna Cochran and Jasmin Aviles of Palestine; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Augustine Aviles was a loving son and brother. He loved his nieces and nephews. He will always be loved by his family and friends, and he will always be in our hearts.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Cochran, Frankie Aviles, Jason Aviles, Jose Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez and Marcus Guzman.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
