Ruby Alexander

Ruby Alexander, 85, of Marble Falls, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at her residence.

Ruby was born July 13, 1927 in Palestine, Texas to Whitcomb and Ruby Alice Hester Carter. She graduated from the Catholic high school in Palestine. She married Vernon Alexander on Aug. 7, 1947 in Jacksonville. She attended nursing school in Kansas City, Mo. and attended Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Burnet.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Brad Alexander and Mark Alexander; three brothers and three sisters.

Ruby is survived by husband, Vernon; sons, Jim Alexander, Paul Alexander and his wife Michele; brother, Joseph Carter of Houston; and granddaughter, Lindsey Alexander.

A memorial mass will be held at a future date. If desired, memorials in her name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York N.Y., 10016. Please offer condolences to the family via the online guestbook at www.edgarfh.com.
