Sandra Kay Wallace

— Funeral services for Sandra Kay Wallace, 34, of Elkhart, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at the Family of Faith Church in Elkhart, with the Rev. Clayton Douglass and David Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at Parker Cemetery in Grapeland. Services are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Sandra passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 4, 1978 in Palestine to Mitchell Dickson and Donna Damron.

Sandra was a graduate of Elkhart High School class of 1996.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mitchell Dale Dickson; and grandfathers, Sonny Dickson and Fred Starr.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 16 years, Gabe Wallace of Elkhart; daughter, Morgan Kay Wallace, 16, of Elkhart; and son, Payeton Bruce Wallace, 11, of Elkhart; mother, Donna Kay Damron and husband Eddie of Round Rock, Texas; father-in-law, Pat Wallace and mother-in-law Christine Wallace; grandparents, Helen Vernice Dickson “Boot” of Elkhart, Margie Starr “Granny” of Round Rock, Gilbert and Melba Wallace of Grapeland and Juanita Wiggins of Grapeland; brother, Marcus Dickson and wife Bridget; sister, Samantha Welk and husband Wes. Robin and husband Eric Johnson, Niki and husband Frank Hernandez, Becky Damron, Jefferey and wife Cassie Hernandez. Brother-in-law, Tony Wallace and wife, Katy. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Sandra was always smiling and had a heart of gold. She will be truly missed by all.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
