Memorial services for Geraldine (Jerri) Moran, 84, of Palestine, will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel with the Rev. Danny Rodriguez officiating.
Mrs. Moran died Wednesday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 22, 1927, in Springfield, Mo. to Oda R. Smith and Dollie Jackson Smith.
Mrs. Moran loved spending time with her family and friends and her Yorkshire terrier dog, “Pepper.” She also enjoyed crocheting for them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 46 years, Thomas Moran, in 2005.
Mrs. Moran is survived by her sons, P.J. Moran and wife Linda of Palestine and Thomas Moran of Kansas City, Mo.; step-grandson, Timothy Lee; and great-grandson, Christian Lee.
The family would like to extend its gratitude for the love and care given to Jerri at The Gardens in Hawkins, Texas.
