Funeral services for Treva May Finch, 86, of Grapeland, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Grapeland with the Rev. Todd Nivens and Jason Attaway officiating. Burial will follow in Parker Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Finch died Sunday at Dogwood Trails Assisted Living.
She was born July 6, 1926 in Houston County to Arland Skidmore and Annie Maude Chaffin.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Grapeland.
Mrs. Finch was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Troy E. Finch.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Turner of Katy; son-in-law, Don (Tom) Turner Jr.; sister, Neva Trahan of Beaumont; brother, Harold Skidmore of Palestine; sister-in-law, Lena Goodnight of Grapeland; grandchildren, Todd Turner and Barbara Powell and husband Tim; great-grandchildren, Dillion Powell and Lauren and Keegan Turner; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Chapel Grapeland.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Grapeland, 258 W. Chestnut, Grapeland, Texas 75844.
