Graveside services for Charles R. “Charlie” Sheridan, known to many as Chaki, 57, of Elkhart, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Pilgrim Cemetery with Jim Morris officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.
Mr. Sheridan died Saturday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 26, 1954 in Palestine to Zack Ernest Sheridan and Lillie Ann Thomas Fulford.
Mr. Sheridan was a truck driver for Walmart for many years, he owned and operated his own truck since 2001 operating for Micar Transportation. He was a member of Church of Christ at Elkhart.
Mr. Sheridan was preceded in death by his father, Zack Ernest Sheridan.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Lott Sheridan of Elkhart; mother, Lillie Ann Fulford of Elkhart; daughters, Dusty Sheridan Holbrook of Crockett and Ashly Sheridan Perry of Elkhart; son, Charles “Chuck” Sheridan of Elkhart; sisters, Vicki Kelly of Palestine and Cari Mack of Houston; brothers, Bill and Hunter Sheridan of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren and numerous other family and close friends.
Pallbearers will be Matt Hayes, Bill Lasiter, James Edington, Kevin Kelly, Hunter Sheridan, Bill Sheridan, Alan Grant and Bryan Sheridan. Honorary pallbearers will be Donal Ross Sheridan, Mike Cubstead, Cody Edington, Scott Johnson, Brandon Bennett and Roger Sambrano.
