Lovonia Mildred Higginbotham Cowart

— A memorial service for Lovonia Mildred Higginbotham Cowart will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Evangelistic Temple, located at 3011 N. Loop 256, with Nancy Davis and Debbie Swift officiating.

Mrs. Cowart went to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 7, 2012.

She was born Sept. 4, 1929 to Guy Manuel Clark and Mollie Omega Gillard.

 Mrs. Cowart’s father died before she was born and her mother married Robert Isbell.

Mrs. Cowart married Roy Edward (Eddie) Higginbotham and later William (Bill) Floyd Cowart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brothers, James R., Buddy, and Billy Ray Isbell; sister, Bobbye Jean Reynolds; daughter, Lovonia Joyce Snoe; and a granddaughter, Lisa Crawford.

Mrs. Cowart is survived by one son, Travis Higginbotham and wife Alice of Palestine; two stepdaughters, Charlotte Black and husband John of Hot Springs, Ark., and Loyce Pecham of Arizona; sister, Nina Fay Fletcher of Camden, Ark.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
