Alta Roberson

Memorial services for Alta Allie Light Roberson, 80, of Palestine, and formerly of Fort Worth, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Chapel in Palestine with Tony Kubecka officiating.

Mrs. Roberson died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in Palestine.

She was born June 20, 1932, in Blackfoot, Texas to Grady Henry Light and Lafayette Tennessee Howard Light.

Mrs. Roberson was a retired appraiser with the Tarrant County Appraisal District.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, R.H. Roberson.

Mrs. Roberson is survived by her son, Royce Roberson; daughters, Benita Taylor and Gale Prestridge; brothers, Jesse Alfred Light and Earnest Alvin Light; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; five nieces and five nephews.
