Funeral services for Lloyd Middleton, 77, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Prince officiating.
Mr. Middleton died Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 7, 1935, in Dallas, Texas to Charles and Pearl Middleton.
Mr. Middleton served in the United States Marine Corp and was also a police officer for the City of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Eva Yarborogh; and brothers, Clifford Middleton and C.E. Middleton.
Mr. Middleton is survived by his wife, Linda Middleton of Palestine; daughter, Andrea Middleton of McCamey; brother, Kenneth Middleton of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
