Naomi Ruth Hand Mitchell

Services for Naomi Ruth Hand Mitchell,  88, of Frankston, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. George C. Folmar officiating. Burial will be at Old Bethel Cemetery in Frankston.

Mrs. Mitchell passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 in Tyler.

She was born March 26, 1924 in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Mrs. Mitchell was a member of the Church of Christ and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Levada Thornton, Edna Kendell, Mable Thornton and Madaline Sturdevant; and son, Roger Bryan Mitchell.

She is survived by her husband, Knox Mitchell; daughter, Barbara Lang and husband Earl of Frankston; brother, Ervin Dayton Hand of Berryville, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Lang, Russell Lang, Ernie Varias, Robert Genuradi, Lee Yarman and Bryan Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers are Justin Mitchell and Chris Flowers.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home in Frankston.
