Saul “Pri” Mancera

Saul Mancera, 22, of 103 Cedarview Dr. in Palestine, passed away in a car accident along with his best friends on March 16, 2013.

Saul was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico on Nov. 2, 1990 to Arturo and Gabriela Mancera. He graduated from Palestine High School in 2009. He participated in cross country and soccer throughout his high school years.

Saul was always full of life and joy. He loved to make everyone smile and laugh with his silly jokes. He had an amazing personality that touched many lives. He was loved very much by his parents, family, fiancé and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Arturo and Gabriela Mancera; brothers, Arturo “Tito” Mancera Jr. and Alan Mancera; and fiancé of five years, Rosie Guillen of Palestine; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Palestine. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Condolence calls will be Friday, March 22, 2013 at McCoy Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Arturo Mancera, Arturo “Tito” Mancera Jr., Jose Mancera, Leo Mancera, Israel Mancera, Adrian Mancera, Severo Guillen, Abraham Chapa and Juan “Pollo” Muñiz.
