Kyhla Anne Mitchell

Funeral services for Kyhla Anne Mitchell, 16, of Lumberton, Texas, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel, with burial to follow at Land of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Palestine.

Kyhla was born July 4, 1995, in Watertown, N.Y. She passed away June 18, 2012 in Lumberton.

Kyhla is survived by her father, Chris Mitchell of Jacksonville, formerly of the Bradford community; brother, Kalob Mitchell, U.S. Marine Corps., Okinawa, Japan; grandparents, Martha Stewart of Jacksonville and Larry Mitchell of Bradford; and great-grandmother, Rose White of Tyler. She also is survived by a sister, Khersty Newman; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
