The Palestine Youth Athletic Association complex will be home next week for the District 6 Dixie District all-star tournament for the 8-and-under coach pitch division.
The tournament begins Sunday, with three teams from Palestine among the eight-team field.
The 8-and-under Palestine American team opens the tournament at 2 p.m. against Fairfield, with the 7-and-under Palestine American team taking on Alto at 3:30 p.m.
The Rusk American team will play Teague at 5 p.m., followed by the nightcap at 6:30 p.m. between Palestine National and Rusk National.
The double-elimination tournament runs through June 21, and District 6 includes teams from Alto, Fairfield, Palestine, Teague and Wortham.
Following this tournament, the PYAA complex will host the 12-and-under boys “O”zone division from June 22-28 as well as the state Dixie tournament beginning July 13 for both the 18-and-under and 12-and-under girls.
