Kennedy leads Cayuga to first win

BETEL — Malcome Kennedy did it all to help the Cayuga Wildcats get their first win of the season.
Cayuga defeated Grand Saline 46-6 Friday night behind the play of Kennedy and Traylon Shead.
"I am real proud because kids played extremely hard and that is what we were looking for from the kids, to play hard for four quarters," Cayuga head coach Tommy Allison said.
Kennedy rushed for 157 yards and scored one touchdowns. He threw two touchdown passes to Billy Duncan. On defense, Kennedy also had an interception return for a touchdown
"He played a complete game, and was all over the field," Allison said of Kennedy. "The interception gave us momentum when we needed it."
Shead rushed for 290 yards on 26 carries and scored three touchdowns.
