H.S. Baseball Playoffs: Big 1st, 7th innings push Elks past Queen City
If the first and the seventh innings didn’t count, then the first game of Elkhart and Queen City’s regional semifinal series here at Driller Park Thursday would’ve been a wash.

The Cayuga baseball team didn’t get much time to celebrate its dramatic, walk-off win Friday against Overton, which propelled the fourth-ranked Wildcats into the regional semifinals.

“Be a senior,” either CHS athletic director Greg Jenkins or CHS coach Greg Branch would say.
It was a request that the four seniors who saw action here Friday seemed to take to heart.
