Sport Clips franchise coming to Palestine
Sport Clips, the nation’s leading men’s and boys’ hair-care franchise, will soon open a store in Palestine. The store, to be located at 419 Old Elkhart Rd. (next to Wal-Mart Supercenter), will be the newest addition to the franchisee’s three existing stores in the Tyler area.
“Everyone needs a haircut, and we’ve been true to our mission of creating a championship haircut experience for men and boys in an exciting sports environment. That’s why the Sport Clips concept continues to grow here in East Texas and across the country,” said Brad Anderson, Sport Clips’ team leader/franchisee for the Palestine and Tyler locations.
“We’re hassle-free, family friendly, and provide a quality service,” he said.
Sport Clips currently has more than 650 store locations in the United States, with plans to hit 700 later this year.
The new store furthers Sport Clips’ commitment to the local business community through the hiring of up to eight professional stylists and two receptionists, as well as their efforts to support VFW’s Operation Uplink free call days.
Fully-equipped for the sports enthusiast, Sport Clips surrounds its clients with high def televisions tuned to sports and sports-themed decor. They serve clients on a walk-in basis.
“Where else can you take care of one of life’s necessities, a haircut, and be treated like an MVP with a neck and shoulder massage and steamed towel treatment, all while being surrounded by the total sports experience,” Anderson said.
Sport Clips is the “Official Haircutter” of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and has official partnership agreements with NASCAR and several professional sports teams.
Headquartered in Georgetown, Texas, Sport Clips is ranked by Entrepreneur magazine’s January 2009 issue in the top 100 franchises in America and in the top 50 fastest-growing franchises. Sport Clips ranked 21st overall in Dun & Bradstreet’s (D&B) AllBusiness.com “2009 AllBusiness AllStars,” as well as a “Top 10 Franchise for Veterans.”
