Day spa to mark 8th year with open house

PALESTINE — Jamie’s Therapeutic Touch Day Spa is celebrating eight years of business in Palestine during its 8th annual open house and anniversary celebration event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at the spa, located at 1730 Crockett Rd.

The spa will be offering free sugaring (hair removal), chair massages and skin scanning as well as free make up lessons (with a $30 makeup purchase) and free Zumba sessions with Andrea Ivins.

Special deals also will be offered during the celebration, including: $18 B-12 shots, $28 lipo-b shots and $38 lipo-b plus shots and $20 weight loss wraps as well as $10 Botox and $450 Juvederm treatments from plastic surgeon Dr. Ravi.

Jamie’s is offering a discount of $15 off any service booked that day and valued at $30 or more. The first 50 clients in the door may purchase a 50-minute Ashiatsu massage and stress facial combo for $80 ($120 value), which can be purchased as a gift certificate or used for oneself.

Huge sales on boutique items, mini spa treatments, free koozies, door prizes (for the first 150 guests) and complimentary food and drinks also are part of the event.

Those attending will be able to participate in a meet and greet with the spa’s new therapists, including skin care therapist Shelby Oliver, hair stylist Rona Lacey, nail techs Wendie Nivens and Jessica Sadler, massage therapist Sarah Worley, plastic Surgeon Dr. Ravi and nurse Dianne.

“All of our reps will be here to provide free services and door prizes,” spa owner Jamie Pettiette Rhone said. “No one will leave empty handed. It’s going to be a lot of fun and we’re looking forward to it!”
