PALESTINE —
Palestine Police Department officers are continuing the investigation into a late-night burglary that took place on Aug. 17 at the Roundhouse Package Store located at 415 W. Spring St. in Palestine.
During the incident, an unknown person used force to gain entry into the building. Once inside, the person was able to obtain a small amount of money before making their way out of the building and away from the scene.
The police processed the scene and were unable to obtain much evidence.
“The police have few leads but continue to work the case,” Palestine Police Sgt. James Muniz said. “(We) have also questioned a person of interest in this incident and the investigation is ongoing at this time.”
