There are a handful of statewide races in the Republican Primary runoff and a single statewide race on the Democratic side.
Both parties are conducting a runoff to determine their nominee for U.S. Senate.
David Dewhurst and Ted Cruz are the candidates in the Republican runoff, while Henderson native Paul Sadler and Grady Yarbrough are vying for the Democratic nomination.
Early voting in the July 31 primary runoff election begins Monday, July 23 and runs through Friday, July 27.
Voters who cast ballots in one of the major party primary elections on May 29 must vote in the runoff election for the same party for which they cast their primary ballot. Voters who did not cast a ballot in primary elections are free to choose either party’s primary runoff ballot, but may only vote in one party’s runoff election.
The general election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 6.
