Runoff election today

PALESTINE — Voters throughout the state have until 7 p.m. today to cast their ballots in the party primary runoff elections.

Anderson County voters will vote at one of four consolidated polling places Tuesday, depending on their voting box.

Those locations include:

• Anderson County Courthouse Annex, 703 N. Mallard St., Palestine (Boxes 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20 and 21)

• First Baptist Church, 424 W. Parker St., Elkhart (Boxes 2, 3, 4 and 5)

• Frankston Courthouse Annex, 320 S. Commerce, Frankston (Boxes 18 and 23)

• and Tennessee Colony Community Center, 6900 W. FM 321, Tennessee Colony (Boxes 10, 11, 22 and 24).

Anderson County voters have no races at the county level Tuesday in either the  Republican or Democratic primary runoffs, but are voting on a short menu of state  and federal races.

Voters must vote in the same party's primary Tuesday as they did in May. Registered voters who did not vote in the May election may vote in either party's runoff election.
