PALESTINE —
The Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a business seminar “Conquering Your Key Moments to Grow Your Business” on Tuesday, July 17.
Presenting the seminar will be Kent Hutchison, corporate trainer for Etech Global services, a leading provider in business process solutions. He has more than 19 years experience working in employee development and training. He is a senior consultant with C.J. Baxter Group, an employee development firm based in Nacogdoches. Kent is a recognized international leader, facilitator and trainer. He regularly facilitates leadership and team retreats for private business and community organizations.
“A key moment is a triggering event or situation which presents a challenge and elicits or demands a response. Businesses who respond positively to their key moments grow in self-confidence and the assurance that they can influence, and even master the market share,” Hutchison said. “On the other hand, businesses who respond negatively to such events gradually become pawns of life, sensing their efforts are futile.”
The seminar will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ben E. Keith Community Room, 2019 W. Oak St. in Palestine. Cost to attend is $10, which includes a meal. Register by calling the Chamber office at 903-729-6066. Seating is limited.
