Two injured by fire in Frankston
Two people were injured Saturday evening in a motor home fire in Frankston.
The two, whose names were not available, lived in the motor home in the 400 block of Ayres Street and were attempting to light the vehicle’s furnace when it apparently exploded, according to Frankston Volunteer Fire Department assistant chief Jason Jacobs.
The two were taken by ambulance to East Texas Medical Center in Jacksonville for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, Jacobs said.
The motor home was a complete loss, he said.
Firefighters from Berryville and Coffee City VFDs assisted in putting out the blaze.
