- Thanks to caring folks of Palestine
- Thanks for Palestine hospitality
- Thanks for not charging for parades I want to thank the City of Palestine, the mayor and council for not passing permit fees for parades.
- Change needed in Sheriff’s Office I am very concerned about what the advertising for our political campaign for sheriff has portrayed.
- Sheriff Taylor treats everyone fairly I am writing in response to the ad Steve Quick put in the Oct. 26 Sunday paper. I don’t claim to know everything that goes into running a jail but I do know that Sheriff Taylor did his job when the domestic violence occurred.
- Keep Lightfoot constable of Pct. 2 As a member of the administration of Cayuga Independent School District, I offer this endorsement of Doug Lightfoot as constable of Precinct 2.
- Taylor has been great sheriff Being a citizen of Anderson County for the last 12 years and having gone through several sheriffs in that time, I have to say that, in my opinion, we have not had a better sheriff than Greg Taylor.
- Two young men help when needed On Oct. 11, a Saturday afternoon, on the Loop, during very heavy traffic, I had a flat tire.
- A few "bad apples" hurt all officers On Oct. 20, 2008, it was discovered that inmates on death row had cell phones and were calling numerous people including a state senator.
- Palestine has great medical teams
