Last Sunday evening, the Anderson County Choir, the children and full orchestra presented their annual Christmas Cantata at the Civic Center. This was truly the best I have heard in may years.
As in the past, this is an effort by all volunteers, under the vision and direction of Rhonda Herrington, who spends many hours in preparation. Thank you Rhonda for all your hard work and each participant as well.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a letter submitted to the Herald-Press by Dan Bochsler:
To be “fit for its future,” a successful city embraces and moves forward with changes. Recently, several positive votes for change occurred in Palestine. Like in life, nothing ever stops changing, and things do “happen for a reason.” - Palestine lucky to have Dr. Puvvada
