Billie Blackwell

Services for Billie Francis Berryhill Blackwell, 71, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery.

Mrs. Blackwell died Wednesday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Gay Cox

Services for Gay Gayle Cox, 59, of Dallas, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Ted Welty officiating. A reception will follow the service at the St. Philip’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall.

Interment will be at 3:15 p.m. at the Sweet Influences Family Cemetery located on Leon County Road 123 and Farm Road 811 in the community of Guy Store in Leon County. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cox died Jan. 18 at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

Helen Holder Ray

Services for Helen Holder Ray, 86, of Fort Worth, and formerly of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dr. Woody Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mrs. Ray died Thursday at Odyssey Hospice Unit in Fort Worth.

Condolence calls will be received Tuesday 1 hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
