Frances (Elrod) O’Brien

Graveside services for Frances (Elrod) O’Brien, 69, of Palestine will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Olive Branch Cemetery with the Rev. Craig Harris officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mrs. O’Brien died Monday at her residence.

Condolence calls will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

William J. (Bill) Smith

Services for William J. (Bill) Smith, 89, of Palestine will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Evangelistic Temple with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Graveside services with military honors will follow at Palestine City East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith died Saturday at the Cartmell Home.

Condolence calls will be received at 10 a.m. Thursday before the funeral service at the Evangelistic Temple.

Memorials may be made to the Evangelistic Temple Building Fund, 3011 N. Loop 256, Palestine, Texas 75801.
