Funeral services for Elizabeth Christine Congleton, 79, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Westwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Dees officiating. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Congleton died Tuesday at Cartmell Home for Aged.

Mr. Herod died Sunday in Houston

Johnny Johnson

Mr. Johnson died April 26 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.

Adell Thompson Smith

Services for Adell Thompson Smith, 82, of Grapeland, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church in Grapeland with the Rev. Dale Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Golden Gate Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith died April 29 at East Texas Medical Center in Crockett.
