The following items were taken from reports provided by the Palestine Police Department.
Oct. 23
• 10:25 a.m. — Burglary of a coin operated collection machine, 1600 block of W. Palestine Ave. Made contact with complainant who reported that an unknown person broke into a vending machine and took the money box.
• 12:19 p.m. — Burglary of a coin operated collection machine/criminal mischief, 3900 block of W. Oak St. Made contact with complainant who reported that an unknown person(s) broke into the coke machine in front of his business.
Oct. 24
• 6:10 a.m. — Assault physical contact — family violence/warrant service municipal court, South Sycamore St. Complainant reported that her boyfriend assaulted her.
• 3:26 p.m. — Theft, 300 block of E. Spring St. Subject was arrested for theft of property and criminal trespass at Kroger grocery store.
• 9:55 p.m. — Interference with an emergency call/assault physical contact — family violence, May Street. Complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend assaulted her.
• 8:30 p.m. — Aggravated robbery, 500 block of Old Elkhart Rd. Complainant reported an aggravated robbery
• 12:46 p.m. — Driving while license invalid with previous conviction/ driving while intoxicated. 300 block of McNeil St. Arrested subject for DWI and DWLI with previous conviction.
Oct. 25
• 1:33 a.m. — Driving while intoxicated. Female subject arrested during a traffic stop for driving while intoxicated.
• 2:25 p.m. — Criminal mischief, 600 block of Crockett Rd. Complainant reported criminal mischief committed to her vehicle.
• 7 a.m. — Theft, 200 block of E. Brazos St. Complainant reported a theft of several Halloween decorations in her front yard.
• 6:57 p.m. — Aggravated assault, 700 block of South St. Subject was arrested for aggravated assault.
• 7:34 p.m. — Assault against elderly or disabled individual/assault causes bodily injury — family violence/interference with an emergency call, 700 block of S. Jackson St. Subject was arrested for assault on a disabled relative, assault causing bodily injury to her younger sister, and interference with emergency call.

Four arrested in connection with pipe theft
Four Anderson County residents have been arrested in connection with the theft of several thousand pounds of scrap metal pipe earlier this month.

Authorities have three suspects in custody after they say they seized more than 4 grams of methamphetamine and approximately $6,500 cash Tuesday during the execution of a search warrant at a local residence.

Traffic stop ends in arrest of 2 Houston Co. men
Two Houston County men were arrested early Sunday morning following a traffic stop inside the Palestine city limits, with one charged with possessing the drug commonly referred to as PCP.

Man arrested after hiding in attic
With an assist from a local volunteer fire department, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office was able to arrest a 39-year-old Palestine man on a warrant last week.

Anderson County sheriff’s authorities arrested three people on drug charges Friday afternoon at a local hotel, seizing more than $500 cash from one of the suspects.

A 29-year-old Palestine man was arrested Tuesday after authorities say he sold a shotgun to a local pawn shop which was stolen during a 2001 Gregg County burglary.
