Four-wheeler theft under investigation
PALESTINE — Anderson County sheriff’s authorities continue to investigate last week’s theft of a four-wheeler parked outside of an Elkhart residence.
The 2007 Honda Rancher four-wheeler was reported stolen from outside a residence in the 15000 block of Texas 19 South in Elkhart Friday night, according to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor.
The four-wheeler was valued at $7,000, according to the sheriff.
Anderson County sheriff’s deputy Lloyd Giles responded to the call shortly after 7 p.m. Friday, according to the sheriff.
Taylor said the four-wheeler was parked approximately 20 yards behind the residence at the time it was stolen.
Authorities have no suspects at this time, he added.
