Riding lawnmower stolen in burglary
A riding lawnmower valued at $2,500 apparently was stolen sometime Tuesday during a burglary west of the Palestine city limits.

Four Anderson County residents have been arrested in connection with the theft of several thousand pounds of scrap metal pipe earlier this month.

Authorities have three suspects in custody after they say they seized more than 4 grams of methamphetamine and approximately $6,500 cash Tuesday during the execution of a search warrant at a local residence.
