Christian Heritage Academy Happenings for 2-23
• Kindergarten — Mrs. Scroggin's class has begun a study of the continents of the world. We are learning about many cultures and their traditions, language, customs, foods, etc. We are even learning to locate all the continents and several countries on our globes.
• Fifth and Sixth grade — Mrs. Willis's and Mrs. Adair's classes have been enjoying Officer Greene coming and sharing the D.A.R.E. Program with us. We have learned the dangers of alcohol, and how it affects the brain.
Students got to wear special goggles that give the feeling of being intoxicated, showing them the effects of alcohol, and how dangerous it can be. Thank you Officer Greene for helping us to understand the importance of making the right choices in life.
• Library News — Our first annual book fair was a huge success. We were able to get 100 new books for the library! Thanks to Mrs. Bell and Mrs. Gonzales for donating refreshments for our shoppers to enjoy. They were greatly appreciated, and quickly eaten. Thanks also to all our parent volunteers who helped make the fair such a success. We couldn't have done it without you.
