3 teens accused in Killeen youth’s death
KILLEEN, Texas (AP) — Killeen police detained three teens over the slaying of a 16-year-old boy who had been missing more than a week.
Police say the body of James Johnson III was discovered early Thursday off a road north of Temple. Johnson was reported missing by his parents, from the family’s home, the night of Nov. 11.
Police on Thursday announced the arrest of a 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old males in the murder investigation.
No motive was immediately cited by police. The cause of death has not been released.
