2-27 dogwood tree 1.jpg

Palestine artist Terry Vogeler created this recycled metallic dogwood tree that will keep its blooms throughout the year in front of Easy Recycling, located at 1212 W. Palestine Ave. The art piece was made out of 90 percent recycled products from Easy Recycling, according to manager Matt Alred. “We thought about planting live flowers but decided to go in a different direction. We wanted to try to follow the theme of Palestine,” Alred said Tuesday. “Lots of people have stopped to look at it. The artist did a fantastic job.”
