About 40 people gathered for the annual Anderson County Hospice of East Texas tree lighting ceremony Monday at Reagan Park in memory and in honor of friends or family members. Light Up A Life is the annual fundraiser for the Hospice of East Texas, a non-profit community-based organization. Proceeds from Light Up A Life enable the organization to provide end-of-life care to any patient and their families throughout East Texas despite their ability to pay.
