Clouds create a glowing pattern in the evening sky over south Palestine Monday. While the area saw scattered rainshowers on Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service reports a short reprieve from the wet weather, with sunny skies and a high of 63 degrees today. Rain chances increase the rest of the week, at 50 percent on Wednesday and up to a 70 percent chance on Thursday, with clear skies returning again on Friday.
